Guest Speaker – Professor Hans Vossensteyn

Professor Hans Vossensteyn is Director and Senior Research Associate of the Center for Higher Education Policy Studies (CHEPS) at the University of Twente, Enschede, Netherlands, and Professor and Program Leader of the MBA Higher Education and Research Management at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, Germany. He has extensive research and consulting experience on higher education topics like funding; study success; internationalisation; relevance; governance; student financing; access; indicators; selection and study success; quality assurance and accreditation.  He has led several international comparative research projects and consortia for ministries, the European Commission (DG-EAC) and the European Parliament. Hans served on many institutional, national and international committees, review panels and working groups on higher education and institutional management, and teaching and research quality. He is a higher education expert for the World Bank.
